A building fire on Great Hampton Street in Birmingham forced road closures and required multiple crews from West Midlands Fire Service to tackle the blaze.
The fire broke out at about 11:00 BST. West Midlands Fire Service said crews were in attendance in under three minutes after receiving a number of calls.
Fire-fighting operation
Firefighters used breathing apparatus, main jets, hose reel jets, a hydraulic platform appliance and a drone to tackle the fire. The blaze, which was thought to have started accidentally, is now under control.
Road closures
Great Hampton Street and Constitution Hill, between Northwood Street and Halford Street, have been reopened. Barr Street remains closed following the fire to ensure the safety of the building and surrounding area.
West Midlands Fire Service said the cause of the fire was accidental.
