BBC Birmingham & Black Country has published a gallery of reader photographs capturing September sunshine across the West Midlands region.
The collection includes images taken across multiple locations. A sunrise photograph was captured over sheep in Birdingbury, Warwickshire. Deer at Charlecote in Warwickshire feature in another shot. A sunset was photographed over Worcester, while Church Stretton in Shropshire provided a photograph with lens flare. An Edgbaston view shows Birmingham itself, and another sunrise photo was taken in Sutton Coldfield.
Staffordshire locations feature prominently. A close-up of seed cases on a beech tree was captured in Kinver, as was a photograph of narrowboats on a canal. Late afternoon sunshine was photographed in Colwall, Herefordshire. Wolverhampton's sunshine breaking through clouds illuminates a church and gardens in one image. A robin was photographed in Ludlow.
How to Submit Your Photographs
Readers can submit their own photographs of the West Midlands via BBC Weather Watchers or by emailing midlandstoday@bbc.co.uk. Submissions taken within the past week are more likely to be selected for publication.
When submitting photographs, senders should provide: the full name of the photographer (as copyright holder), confirmation that the copyright holder permits BBC use across all outputs, the location, date and time the photograph was taken, a telephone number, and any other relevant details about the image.
