Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market will run for seven weeks from 5 November to 24 December, featuring traditional German food and drink, handcrafted gifts, and entertainment in the city centre.
The market will serve German treats including hot glühwein, schnitzel, and bratwurst, alongside decorations, toys, and jewellery from decorated stalls.
Opening hours
The market's opening hours are:
Mondays to Thursdays: 11am to 9pm
Fridays: 11am to 9:30pm
Saturdays: 10am to 9:30pm
Sundays: 10am to 9pm
On Remembrance Sunday (8 November), the market will open at 1pm as a mark of respect.
Location changes due to public works
Due to ongoing public realm works on Bennetts Hill and Temple Street, there will be no stalls between the Apple store and Nando's on New Street this year. The market will resume beyond Corporation Street, with craft stalls also positioned along High Street.
Big Wheel and Ice Rink
The Big Wheel and Ice Rink will return to Centenary Square, open daily from 5 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 between 10am and 10pm. Both attractions will be closed on Christmas Day. Tickets can be booked at www.iceskatebirmingham.co.uk.
